Managing Item Variants in Your Naologic Workspace
Item variants are essential for offering various options for your products and services, such as sizes, colors, or packaging types. This article will guide you through managing item variants in your Naologic workspace.
Accessing Item Variants
To access the Item Variants section:
Click on the Items tab in the top navigation to open the Items table.
Create a new item or edit an existing one, which will open the Item form.
In the Item form, you'll see five tabs: Basics, Variants, Vendor Information, Shipping, and Storefront. Select the Variants tab.
Creating and Managing Item Options and Variants
Inside the Variants tab, you can create and manage item options and variants. Follow these steps:
Click the "Create New Option" button to add an item option, such as "Packaging" or "Size."
For each option, add item variants. For example, for "Size," you might add "Small," "Medium," and "Large."
To edit the available options, hover over the item option and click the Edit button. Here, you can add new variants or modify existing ones.
Once you've generated options and variants, you'll see a Variant Preview section that displays the item's name, cost, price, SKU, and an Active/Inactive toggle.
To edit a specific variant, hover over the variant and click the Edit button.
Configuring Item Variant Details
When editing an item variant, you can configure the following details:
Specify the variant's availability as Public or Unavailable.
Assign manufacturer information to the variant.
Define variant measurements, such as width, height, depth, unit, weight, and volume.
Upload assets, such as images, for the item variant.
After you're satisfied with the information, click the Save button to attach the variant details to your item.
By understanding how to manage item variants in your Naologic workspace, you can offer a range of options to your customers and keep your product and service offerings organized and up-to-date.
