Present Data in a Simple, Paginated Format

The View-only Table lets you display data in a structured, read-only format. It’s great for reviewing large amounts of information while keeping the layout clean and easy to navigate.

Installation

  1. Access the Element Studio:

    • In the Individual App Canvas, hover over the modal where you want to add the View-only Table.

    • Click Access Element Studio.

  2. Add the View-only Table:

    • Inside Element Studio, click Add New Block.

    • Search for "View-only Table" and click to add it to the modal.

Setup

Basic Configuration:

  1. Connect to a Data Document:

    • Choose a data document from your app to connect to the table (e.g., "Contact").

  2. Select a Search Action:

    • Pick a search action within that document to display the data (e.g., "Search Contacts").

  3. Set Up Columns:

    • Select which data fields will be shown in each column. For example:

      • First Column: "Name"

      • Second Column: "Shift" or other relevant data

The View-only Table is an effective solution for presenting data that users need to read but not modify. By connecting to your app’s data documents and customizing the columns, you can create clear, structured views that make reviewing information straightforward and efficient. This element is perfect for scenarios where simplicity and accessibility are key to user experience.
