Select Values Seamlessly Within a Defined Range

The Slider element provides an interactive way for users to select values within a specified range by clicking and dragging along a visual bar. This feature is perfect for scenarios requiring input within a range, such as setting quantities, ratings, or numerical preferences.

Installation

  1. Access the Element Studio:

    • In the Individual App Canvas, hover over the modal where you wish to add the Slider element.

    • Click Access Element Studio.

  2. Add the Slider Element:

    • Inside Element Studio, click Add New Block.

    • Use the search bar to find "Slider" and click to add it to the modal.

Setup

  1. Connect to a Data Field:

    • Link the slider to a data field within your app’s structure to store the selected value.

  2. Set Minimum and Maximum Values:

    • Define the minimum and maximum range values that the slider can represent.

  3. Determine Increment Steps:

    • Choose the step value to decide by how much the slider increments when being dragged (e.g., steps of 1, 5, or 10).

The Slider element is an efficient tool for allowing users to input values quickly and visually. With customizable range settings and step increments, it can be tailored to various applications, making data input intuitive and user-friendly.
