Upload and Manage Visual Content with Ease

The Image Picker element allows users to upload images directly from their device. You can choose between a single-image upload or a multiple-image option, which permits up to five images. The element provides full control to remove or change images as needed, ensuring flexible and user-friendly management of visual content in your application.

Installation

Access the Element Studio:

  1. In the Individual App Canvas, locate and hover over the modal where you wish to add the Image Picker element (either single or multiple).

  2. Click Access Element Studio.

Add the Image Picker Element:

  1. Inside Element Studio, click Add New Block.

  2. Use the search bar to find "Image Picker" (single or multiple) and click to add it to the modal.

Setup

Configure the Data Field:

  1. Ensure that the data field this element connects to is a Data Structure + Array containing the necessary fields:

    • File Name (String)

    • CDN Link (String)

    • I (Number)

    • Alt (String)

  2. Enable CDN in the Data Document: Make sure that the Content Delivery Network (CDN) is enabled for the data document. Create a designated folder within the document for the uploaded images to be stored.

Single vs. Multiple Image Picker:

  • Single Image Picker: Allows users to upload only one image.

  • Multiple Image Picker: Users can upload up to five images and manage them by removing or changing individual selections.

The Image Picker element is a vital tool for apps requiring image uploads and management, offering a seamless and organized way to handle visual content.
