The File Picker (Single) allows users to select an individual file from the workspace and preview it within the app. The File Picker Display (Single) complements this by visually displaying the selected file in data display modals, making it easy to reference or view uploaded files.

Installation

1. Access the Element Studio:

   • In the Individual App Canvas, locate and hover over the modal where you want to add the File Picker or File Picker Display element.

   • Click Access Element Studio.

2. Add the File Picker (Single) or File Picker Display (Single):

   • Inside Element Studio, click Add New Block.

   • Use the search bar to find either "File Picker (Single)" or "File Picker Display (Single)" and click on it to add it to the modal.

Configuring the File Pickers

1. Connect to a Data Field:

   • Link the File Picker to a data field in the data document. This field will store the information of the selected file, enabling it to be previewed or referenced as needed.

2. Data Document Selection:

   • Select the Data Document Name from which files will be chosen. This document should contain the data relevant to the files available for selection.

3. Specify Search Fields:

   • Choose the Search Fields that will help locate files within the selected data document. This could include fields such as file name, type, or upload date to streamline the file selection process.
