Create Interactive, Expandable, and Rearrangeable Data Lists

The Card List with Reorder element enables you to build interactive data lists that can be expanded, collapsed, and rearranged for better data management. This dynamic and flexible feature allows you to effectively manage data fields that involve multiple entries within a single data structure.

Overview

This element is ideal for data fields defined as "Data Structure" types, making it perfect for complex data inputs where multiple related fields need to be managed together. Common use cases include managing detailed records like addresses, where fields such as "address line 1," "address line 2," "zip," "country," and "city" can be grouped and managed efficiently.

Installation

1. Access the Element Studio:

   • In the Individual App Canvas, locate and hover over the modal where you wish to add the Card List with Reorder element.

   • Click Access Element Studio.

2. Add the Card List with Reorder Element:

   • Inside Element Studio, click Add New Block.

   • Use the search bar to find "Card List with Reorder" and click to add it to the modal.

Setup

1. Select a Data Structure Field:

   • Ensure that the chosen data field is of the "Data Structure" type.

   • Link the Card List with Reorder element to this data field (e.g., an "Address" data structure).

2. Add Fields Inside the Card:

• Include fields such as freeform text inputs or dropdowns as needed.

• Examples:

  • Freeform Text: Use for fields like "Address Line 1" or "City."

  • Dropdowns: Utilize for options like "Country" to provide a list of selectable values.
