Overview of Stax

Stax is a payment processing platform that provides businesses with tools to accept and manage payments. Integrating Stax with Naologic enables you to generate payment links, verify invoice statuses, and streamline payment workflows within your application.

With the Stax integration, you can:

• Generate Payment Links: Create links for users to make payments directly through the Stax platform.

Installing the Stax API in Naologic’s Builder

To set up the Stax API for use within your project, follow these steps:

1. Install the Stax API:

   • Go to your app's canvas.

   • Click on the plus sign on the left to open the element selection menu.

   • Navigate to the APIs section.

   • Search for "Stax" and press Install to add it to your project.

2. Add Stax API Action to the Canvas:

   • After installing the Stax API, go to the API Actions section.

   • Search for "Stax" and drag the Generate Stax Checkout Link action onto the canvas.

   • Configure the action by connecting it to the relevant data document and setting up the necessary fields.

Configuring the Stax API Action

After adding the Stax Generate Checkout Link action to your app’s canvas, complete the configuration through the following tabs:

1. Action Settings:

   • Connect the Generate Stax Checkout Link action to the appropriate data document in your app (e.g., Contact).

   • Set parameters for action path, access type (e.g., Public), data sanitization mode, and request execution type.

2. User Policies:

   • Define the policies that should apply to users performing this action. Policies set here will be context-specific and apply only for the duration of the request.

3. Payment Configuration:

   • Complete the payment configuration by filling out the necessary fields:

     1. App, Customer ID, Target Document, Account Details (email, name)

     2. Payment Route and Link

     3. Status when paid

     4. Amount and Currency Source Fields

Connecting Naologic to Your Stax Account

To link Naologic with your Stax account, follow these steps:

1. Access Integration Settings:

   • Navigate to the top right of the Workspace and click on the cog icon (Settings).

   • Select Integrations from the settings menu.

2. Connect to Stax:

   • In the Integrations menu, find Stax and click Connect.

   • Enter the following information from your Stax account:

     • Web Payments Token: Your Stax Web Payments token.

     • API Key: Your Stax API Key.

   • Once all required fields are filled, click Connect to establish the connection between Naologic and your Stax account.

Once the Stax integration is set up in Naologic, you can generate payment links, track invoice statuses, and streamline payment processing directly within your application, enhancing the efficiency of your billing and transaction workflows.
