Overview of FTP
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used to transfer files between a client and server over a network. Integrating FTP with Naologic allows you to securely connect to an FTP server to upload, download, or manage files directly from your application.
With the FTP integration, you can:
Connect to FTP Servers: Establish a connection to an FTP server using your credentials and settings.
Transfer Files: Enable file transfers between your FTP server and application for seamless file management.
Installing the FTP API in Naologic’s Builder
To install the FTP API for your project, follow these steps:
Install the FTP API:
Go to your app's canvas.
Click on the plus sign on the left to open the element selection menu.
Navigate to the APIs section.
Search for "FTP" and press Install to add it to your project.
Connecting Naologic to Your FTP Server
To establish a connection between Naologic and your FTP server, you’ll need to provide your server credentials and connection settings. Follow these steps:
Access Integration Settings:
Navigate to the top right of the Workspace and click on the cog icon (Settings).
Select Integrations from the settings menu.
Connect to FTP:
In the Integrations menu, find FTP and click Connect.
Enter the following information for your FTP connection:
Host: The FTP server hostname or IP address.
Port: The FTP server port (default is 21).
Username: Your FTP account username.
Password: Your FTP account password.
Secure/Insecure: Choose Secure (SFTP/FTPS) or Insecure based on the type of connection you want to establish.
Once all required fields are filled, click Connect to link Naologic with your FTP server.
