Manage Project Languages

Multilingual support is essential for reaching a global audience and enhancing user experiences in today's interconnected world. By enabling your Naologic project to support multiple languages, you can effectively communicate with users from diverse backgrounds and expand your application's reach.

Adding Languages to Your Project

You can add languages to your project from two locations:

  1. From the Project Canvas:

    • Click the “+” sign on the middle left on the project canvas

    • Under Project Settings > Localization you will see Supported Languages

    • Open the dropdown menu and select/remove any languages you may need

    • Once done, click on the Save button

  2. From Project Configuration:

    • On the top right of your Project Canvas you have the Project Configuration button

    • Click on it and in the menu it opens select Language Management

    • Under Settings > Language settings you will see Supported Languages

    • Open the dropdown menu and select/remove any languages you may need

    • Once done, click on the Save Changes button

Translating Your Project

Now that the new language is added, you can manually input translations for all the project languages, making your project compatible with the newly added language. This will enable your end users to switch to the added language when using the applications published through this project.

For a more efficient process, you can automate translations using external data connectors like Google Translate or OpenAI. This allows you to automatically generate translations that you can then manually check for accuracy.

Right-to-Left Support and Additional Languages

All Naologic applications come with native right-to-left support, making them compatible with languages like Arabic and Hebrew. If the language you wish to add is not available in the dropdown list, you can contact Naologic for support, and they can quickly add the desired language.

By effectively implementing multilingual support in your Naologic project, you can expand your reach to a global audience, enhance user experiences, and foster inclusivity. Through careful language selection, translation, and configuration, you can create a project that resonates with users from diverse backgrounds and strengthens your application's appeal.
