Accessing the Dashboard Builder

Once the Dashboard app has been installed and configured, you can create and manage widgets and charts using the Dashboard Builder. The Dashboard Builder provides a user-friendly interface for setting up data visualizations within your project.

How to Access the Dashboard Builder:

1. Go to the Project Canvas.

2. Click on Project Configuration at the top-right corner.

3. Select Dashboard Builder from the options.

Creating a Data Visualization

To create a new data visualization in the Dashboard Builder, follow these steps:

1. Create Visualization:

   • Click on Create Visualization to begin.

2. Chart Basics:

   • Add the Chart Basics, which include:

     • Name: The title of your chart.

     • Description: A brief explanation of the chart’s purpose or data being displayed.

3. Add Chart to Widget:

   • After completing the basics, press Add Chart to Widget to insert the chart into a widget for display.

4. Select the Chart Type:

   • Click on the Chart Header to choose the type of chart you want from the available options.

   • When selecting the chart type, the right side of the screen will display a preview of how the chart will look once data is populated. This allows you to visualize the chart before finalizing your setup.

5. Fill Out the Chart Form:

   • After selecting the chart type, you will be prompted to fill in a form. This form includes data connections, formatting settings, and chart-specific requirements to ensure the chart displays the desired information accurately.

With the Dashboard Builder, you can create interactive and dynamic visualizations that empower users to analyze and understand data effectively within your application.
