Enabling Multiple Languages in the Workspace

Adding multiple languages to your app's workspace enhances user accessibility by allowing them to select their preferred language. This configuration can be performed in three ways:

  1. Configuring Languages via Localization Settings

    • In the app canvas, click the plus sign on the left to open the Element Selection Menu.

    • Under Project Settings, navigate to Localization.

    • In the Localization panel, configure the following:

      • Supported Currencies: Select the default currencies for your project. These currencies will appear as options for all currency-related fields across your application.

      • Supported Languages: Choose the languages you want to enable from the dropdown menu. For example, if you want to add Spanish, simply select it from the list.

    • Save your settings to apply them.

  2. Configuring Languages via Language Management

    • In the app canvas, click Project Configuration on the top right and select Language Management.

    • Navigate to Settings > Language Settings.

    • From the dropdown, select the additional languages you want to support, such as Spanish.

    • Publish your changes to ensure they are available to users.

  3. Translating Phrases Automatically

    • Once a new language is added, you may notice that none of the phrases are translated yet. To translate the text:

      • Go to the Language Management section under Project Configuration.

      • In the list of phrases for the default language (e.g., English), click the Translate button at the top to process automatic translations for all saved phrases.

    • Wait for the process to complete. Note that the time required depends on the number of phrases in your project.

    • Once completed, the new language (e.g., Spanish) will have all phrases translated automatically.

Once the settings are saved and published, users will be able to select their preferred language within the app workspace, ensuring a localized and user-friendly experience.
