How to Add the Ship an Order Function
While editing the desired installed action:
Click on the "Add Function" button inside the action edit modal.
Search for "Ship an Order" in the list of available functions.
Select the function to include it in the action.
Configure the function by specifying the following fields:
Sales Order Document: Select the sales order document that needs to be updated.
New Status: Define the status to assign to the sales order after it is shipped (e.g., "Shipped").
Allow If Status: Optionally set a condition to allow shipment only if the sales order matches a specific status (e.g., "Ready for Shipment").
Sales Settings Document: Specify the settings document governing sales and shipping configurations.
Purchase Order Document: Link the related purchase order document if applicable.
Purchase Order New Status: Define the status to assign to the related purchase order (e.g., "In Progress").
Create New Purchase Order Action: Specify the action to create a new purchase order if required.
Save the action settings.
Once configured, the function updates the sales order's status to reflect its shipment and manages any related purchase orders as defined.
