Modal Displaying Dynamic Data

Show dynamically formatted data from internal or external sources.
The Modal displaying dynamic data feature allows you to present data fetched from internal or external data sources within a modal. This is useful for scenarios where data needs to be dynamically updated or presented based on user actions or system triggers.
Installing the Modal Displaying Dynamic Data
Navigate to the Desired Project:
From the Builder Overview, locate and select the project where you want to install the modal.
Access the Individual App Canvas:
Within the selected project, hover over the desired app and click Access App Flow to open the app where you want to add the modal.
Open Add Elements:
Click the “+” button on the left side of the app canvas to open the Add Elements panel.
Search for the Modal:
Use the search bar to find Modal displaying dynamic data.
Drag and Drop to Install:
Drag the modal onto the app canvas screen.
Configuring the Modal Displaying Dynamic Data
Connect to a Data Document:
Hover over the modal and click Edit.
Go to the Settings tab and link the modal to the appropriate Data Document. This will allow the modal to pull and display data from internal or external sources.
Configure Headers, Rows, and Columns:
Within the Edit settings, navigate to the Headers, Rows, and Columns section:
Add Header Buttons to include actions commonly used to interact with the data, such as Edit or Delete. These buttons allow users to make quick modifications or remove entries directly from the modal.
The Modal displaying dynamic data feature provides a flexible way to present up-to-date information directly within your app. By correctly configuring data connections, layout elements, and action buttons, you can ensure that users have easy access to dynamic content.
